Baptism is booked through emailing the church at the church email address or contacting the church at the given phone number. Baptism services are usually held on a Saturday at 12.45am or on Sunday within the 11.00am Parish Mass or at 12.15 after the mass. Baptism Preparation classes are held on the Friday/Wednesday before the Baptism date at 12.45pm at St Anne’s Presbytery, Highfield Road, Rock Ferry. These meetings are a pre-requirement of all Baptism services.

These sacraments are usually supported through our local Catholic Junior School, St Anne’s, in Rock Ferry. But where your child does not attend this school for whatever reason, we offer supported preparation for these sacraments through our church. Please contact the Parish Office to book any places and to arrange any classes.

Confirmation by Bishop Mark is offered to young people in Years 6 - 9 and above. The Service usually takes place in November of each year. We offer a supported preparation program that starts in September and runs through to the Confirmation service date. You should contact the church on its email address or phone number to obtain details of this year’s course and to book any places needed.

We conduct wedding ceremonies here at St Anne’s. These can be either a full Nuptial Mass, conducted by the priest, in which the wedding service is centred or the simpler wedding service outside of the Mass, conducted by the Deacon. For either of these, please contact the church to discuss, book and arrange. Please remember to book early as there are lots of details, documents and procedures to cover ahead of the actual wedding date and your priest or Deacon will be happy to go through all of these with you.

The Sacrament of Confession, also known as Reconciliation, is a beautiful opportunity that allows all of us to renounce the sins we have committed and seek absolution. In His endless mercy and love, God absolves us of our sins and forgives our mistakes, allowing us to reconcile with the Church and God. The meaning of confession and its value helps you realize your mistakes and cleanse your soul of sin. Every Saturday Confession is available to parishioners at 10.30am-11.30am. The priest is also available for Confession on request, or before the start of Mass at 6.30pm

Any person who is housebound, in a Care Home or Hospital who wants to receive Holy Communion, need only to contact the church and leave their details. We will then follow up and arrange to come to you to give you Holy Communion.

Any person who feels in any way ill or seriously out of sorts can obtain the Sacrament of the Sick to help build their physical, mental, emotional and spiritual health. This sacrament needs to be administered by the priest and can be booked/requested through the church contact details.

We also conduct funeral ceremonies here at St Anne’s. These can be either Requiem Mass by the Priest or service of the Word and Holy Communion by the Deacon. We can also support services which are based at either the Crematorium or at the grave-side. For any funeral enquiries, you should contact your Funeral Director first and then ask them to contact us here at St Anne’s. We will then contact you to finalise the details of any services you want.
